The Many Faces...

Recently Updated1

Lately, Sophia is all about sticking her tongue out at me, trying to wink, tilting her head like she is "Miss Thing"and puckering her lips up.....where does this come from???? I know, I know......her sister and probably her Aunt Ingrid. She cracks me right up. She is also still insisting on bunk beds......for either herself and sissy, or herself and Andrew. I took the kids out the other day and we bought Andrew some clothes. I'm not sure that they get it yet, but they are talking about him quite a bit. I will be painting Andrews room this week and I have hung some of his clothes in the closet. I will admit that the thought of 3 toddlers in my van is....well.....quite unbelievable.....especially when I thought Emmie would be my only child along with raising 3 step children. To be buying nearly 3 of everything because they are so close in age is just a trip for me.....but....when I walked around our tennis court in the summer of 2006 trying to lose my pregnancy weight and praying to God to please give me answer on what to do about another child from China......I knew I wanted one right in between Sophia and Daniel and the fact that I have been blessed with that prayer amazes me. I also think back to wanting another girl. Two girls to dress a like and do all that "cute twin stuff" with......and then comes Daniel. The child that turned my world upside down and made me realize what a special gift little boys really are.....isn't it funny that Daniel gets the twin...all 3 of my children still here at home, played their own role in bringing home one more. Emmie insisted on following our dream, Sophia made it all possible and Daniel's miracle birth changed my heart for little boys. Life is such a mystery.

It is truly amazing where "the road in life" will take us! I never imagined traveling to China for our daughter, Francesca and than going back again for our daughter Annabelle. But here we are and life is a truly wonderful and we are so blessed!

Hope you all have a great weekend. And you must posted photos of Andrew's room when you get a chance!

PS. Our new bunk beds have been an interesting experiment.

Sophia is so cute!! Isn't amazing how God puts in plan in motion and in the end it so easy to look back and see how perfectly he orchestrated it! Your story is so beautiful. Your new little guy is darling. I can't wait to see more pictures when you get your hands on him. Blessings!
