Weekend in TN

We had a wonderful time in TN this past weekend with Gwen and her family. It amazes me how easily we get along. There is always something to talk and laugh about and the joy we have seeing our children play together is priceless. Gwen introduced us to many of her friends, we hung out at several places, ate tons of food and talked about everything under the sun. It was a fabulous time. I'm exhausted! lol

Emmie and Emily still seem to have quite the bond as well. We no sooner got to the Oatsvall house and Emily was asking Emmie to paint her nails. You could find the two of them together much of our time there. Emily is such a sweet and spunky girl. She and Sophia played well together too.

These two could be sisters..........I swear.......there is more than a red thread connection with these two! ;)

We were also able to attend the Asian Invasion event that Mary Beth Chapman holds monthly. What a wonderful place to just let children come to play. Not to mention seeing several little girls from China together was just nothing short of "dreamy" to me. I loved it.

Miss Maggie has come out of her shell. For all those that are wondering how she is doing....let me tell you.....she runs the Oatsvall household. Her vocabulary is moving right along and there is no doubt that she is attached and bonded to her family. She would come right to me or Emmie for love and snuggles. She is a gem.

We went to Pie In The Sky one evening for dinner. It is a great pizza place that gives each child a big ball of dough to play with at dinner. The kids think it's great. Gwen's oldest son was at a sleepover and Scott had a school function to attend, so I'm afraid I do not have any pictures of them to post. As before.....it is always very hard for us to say good-bye.....I am so thankful for the families that God has brought into my life life through our adoption. Thank you Oatsvall's for taking 3 1/2 days to be with us and just hang out.........it was a wonderful time.
