Monday Bullets

P5062220-2
Many of you have sent emails and left comments asking how Daniels injury is doing. Thank you all for your kindness, sweet thoughts and suggestions. Currently he has a great big scab. It is beginning to come off a bit so I am hoping in a few days I can start applying the Mederma. P5102292
These are the beautiful flowers I was given Saturday night from my older step children when we went out to dinner to celebrate Mother's Day. They are lovely! Thank you DJ,
Susan and James. SIU
I have some weight that I need to get off and I really need to start exercising more. I have been thinking of doing a diet/journal kind of blog. The decision is whether to have it private, for myself only, or if there are others of you that would like to join for encouragement and to Shape It Up yourselves???? I also start Physical Therapy today. My neck and shoulders have been bothering me again. I am so frustrated with this issue I could scream!!!!

The Boy still continues to experiment with his eating procedures. The top two pictures he decided to lick his finger, crunch the chip on the counter so it would stick to his finger and then eat it. Good thing I have a little shark vacuum. Chips were everywhere! The bottom is from Mother's Day. I guess he did not want his Captain Crunch in the dixie cup I had given him. Nope, The Boy thought his croc was a much better place to eat from. ~sigh~ ;) P5112298
And finally on May 9, 2008..... at 40 years old I became an Aunt. My sister Corrie (middle, in the green shirt) had her first baby....... Olida Grace.....she is so precious! She wants to call her Ollie. Don't ask....it's a Dutch thing! lol ;)

Oh...a new baby! Congratulations to everyone!

I know Lottie never eats either, which is partly why she is losing her hair but I wouldn't care if she ate out of her crocs....JUST PLEASE EAT SOMETHING!! lol

I hear ya on the weight issue. I have one pair of pants that I am using as my go by. I don't have scales in my home. I have been working out though 45 minutes a day on a glider during nap time but I need to increase it to twice a day. Good luck!

Just think, Daniel will be able to come up with all kinds of great stories about where that scar came from. lol... I'll bet that Mederma will take care of it, though.

Daniel eating out of his shoe is pretty funny! Pick your battles!

Your new niece is just precious! I love newborns (as long as they don't come home with me anymore!!)

Hope you had a great Mothers Day!!

His eating habits are so funny...but, oh, the mess!

You always think you need to lose weight, but I tend to disagree. But, good luck anyway!

Congratulations on becoming an aunt! It is such fun! Your niece is just beautiful! How wonderful!

Hope you are enduring this horrific weather - tomorrow is supposed to be nice...thank God!

Congrats on becoming an aunt for the first time. That is great! I just had to laugh at Daniel and his creative snack holder. Never thought about a croc but hey, he's defnitely creative. LOL. Love the flowers that you received. So lovely!
I also have a shark vacuum. I love it!! I pray that you will get some relief with your neck and shoulders. That has got to be so frustrating. Hope you had a wonderful Mother's Day my friend.

Glad to know that Daniel in on the mend! Congrats on your niece! Great pic of all 3 of you with the baby!

Happy Be-lated Mother's Day! I would be honored to join your journal! Just this past Saturday I woke up early to go to my local Weight Watcher's meeting. Unfortunately they had canceled the meeting that day. But I have decided it was time for me to take action and finally shed those pounds that I hate so much! LOL

For sure I will go this next Saturday and get on the healthier eating, better life bandwagon!

Wish me luck!

I am with you on the losing weight but I am still not sure where you need to lose from???? My friend & I have started a "Biggest Loser" & the loser owes $100.00 after the second month. Any pointers will help, I hate to lose money unless it is to shopping!!!!

Hope you had a wonderful "Mothers Day"!!!

My little man had an injury last week but to his knee, not his face, and he told me "I left my skin on the playground." (it happened at school) What a sweet baby--congratulations:)

Stef,

Daniel is so creative, how sweet.
I'm sure not the mess but you have to give the boy credit for his creativity. Congrats on becoming an Auntie. How awesome my friend.
I remember the days you were the one and only. Your family has been blessed.

I will join you for support on your healthy quest. I started aqua aerobics last week in our pool. It's warm enough here I can get in at 5:45a.m. for a quick workout before work. I have to reach my goal weight soon. Sooooo close to my size 10's but need that extra push to reach my goal. I still have one (don't laugh) one pair of jeans from high school. I bought them from Gantos and hung onto them for I have no idea why.
They are a freaking size 6. I just look at them and wonder how in the world I ever got one thigh in them let alone two. Think I need to ditch them? I have come to the conclusion that I do not have a young teenage body anymore and I need to embrace my womenly curves and have decided a size 10 will suit me just fine. Now I just need to get there. Let us know, you can count on me for support.

Take Good Care Always,
Michele Clay Burns

Congrats on being an Auntie, I love the photo.
Exercise blog has crossed my mind, thinking that the shame(LOL)might force me into losing my unwanted pounds.
I'll be one of your biggest(literally, LOL)cheerleaders.

Congratulations on becoming an aunt. I personally am scared of newborns, they are sooo tiny. Ollie is soooo cute.

"the boy" is sooo cute, glad he is healing nicely.

I will join you on the weight thing. I need to loose, I gained 80lbs. 6 years ago on the death of a family member and have yet to get it off. This is the first time I've really felt like doing anything. Although, I did do the no carb diet last year, and lost 40lbs. in almost 3 months. I ordered new tennis shoes that will be here this week so I am ready to start the gym.

Just say when.

Daniel is a hoot! Kids don't realize how much they do amuse us-thank goodness! As long as he eats, it's good.
Babies are always welcome, right?
Another sweetie to spoil!
Dieting and eating healthy are two totally different things. Just eat healthy and you will get the results you want.
