Oh Yeah Baby!

I know that this will probably sound terrible, but for the last two days, not only have I given Daniel two new books each day to look at in his bed, ( only cuz it's Christmas and I bought him tons) but he spotted the Wiggles MP3 player in the toy box a few days ago. For some reason he just loves it right now so I let him take it to bed at nap time. Let me tell you people.......it has given me an extra hour.....yes, you read that right....a whole HOUR......AFTER he wakes up. He just stays in his bed and plays the songs over and over and has voiced no complaints what so ever! Can I get a "Oh Yeah Baby.....Momma's doing the Happy Dance"! lol ;) And yes......if you look carefully at this picture, you can see that I have had to turn the crib backwards. I was coming up the stairs one evening to bring "The Boy" his warm milk at bed time and I heard this "BOOM" followed by instant crying. He had been hoisting himself up and balancing on the bed rail and I guess with his jammies on he flipped right over. So......I decided I'd better not waste any time.....especially since we are talking about "The Boy" and I turned it around. Nice huh? I can barely reach over it. Of coarse once I did that, the next day at nap time he realized he could now reach the kleenex. Oh yeah....whole box shredded, every where! In his crib, behind the crib....all over the room. ~Sigh~ "The Boy"! ;)

Gotta love the extra hour, no matter how you get it.

And the Kleenix...you mean he didn't eat any?

I can not beleive how big he is getting! He is such a cutie, even though he is "The Boy!" :)

he is so so cute!

Yep I love these kinds of things to give me extra time too! Jacob and Chloe have a cd player and they spend time at night before bed quieting down with music and when they wake up they play their music before coming down in the mornings. Big help.

He's a little mischief maker, isn't he? But oh so cute!

What a precious boy he is. Before we adopted spicy girl, I always pictured myself with a baby boy. I even had a dream about him, and I've never forgotten it. Whether it will ever be God's will or not, I hold that dream close to my heart. He's just a doll!!

Love the stories about the boy! I have my own boy who makes 'trouble' all the time!
I received your card yesterday...love it!! I also put a goofy picture on my letter this year, maybe I'll get them finished during naptime today...no extra hour here!
I put a very funny story about Christmas presents on my blog...you showed how you hadn't wrapped anything last week. I thought I was ALMOST done, but the kiddos got into the "stash!" Anyway, check it out if you need a giggle!

He's going to need a big boy bed very soon Momma. Boys are restless. I would not feel bad at all about any toy that keeps your child in bed for an extra hour at naptime. I'd do the Wiggle Groove over that.
Are we still having lunch tomorrow? It's on my calendar!

That is a riot about the tissues and the crib backwards.

Oh, I don't think that sounds terrible at all. An extra hour for you while your little guy is content sounds pretty awesome to me!
If your Boy is anything like my Boy was(still is actually)he will just find objects to stand on to boost himself right over the higher rail. My son always seemed to love the challenge of things like that. : )

Hey...whatever works!! I love the pic of him in his crib : )

I've been told to grease the top rail with beeswax to make it slippery and so they can't fling the leg over...that and drill new holes into the support legs to drop the bottom mattress holder another inch.
Should buy you 4 more months.

No need to thank me. Just don't say you heard it from me.

"One zucchini, one tomato, put it in the pot and you've got vegetable soup."
Tell me the wiggles sing this at your house too.
How about : "Rolling down the sand dunes..."
or
"Where's Jeff?"
ha!

Oh he is adorable!!!! I'm all for an extra hour or two : ) My Addison goes to bed with books and often reads for about an hour after she wakes up in the mornings. I love it! I love my Mommy quiet time.

Wow, I'm envious that he takes a nap at all. And that extra hour is amazing! LOL @ the tissues. Jack likes to do that with wipes.

"The Boy" is a cutie pie! :)

The tissues thing is hillarious. I thought it happened tp everyone at least once! We have a dog, that when she was a puppy, would get up in the chair and pull out dozens of tissues, just throwing them around and playing with them. Too funny. Yeah, I can laugh now.
Your Daniel is a living doll. I couldn't be too upset with him, either.

You can never have to much of a good thing... even if it is 'The Wiggles'... a good Aussie band
