I'm so sorry to hear that the trip is starting to drain on everyone. They will be home soon! Very soon!
I had a strong desire to travel the world when I was young, so, after college, I became a flight attendant. I traveled the world for 5 years --- now I'm a complete homebody! :)
I am sorry to read that David isn't happy. Sounds like it is a rough trip. I hope they can find some way to enjoy this last week.

Sorry the trip isn't going as smooth as everyone hoped.. They will work it out and have fun in the end.. Keep your head up.. I know it is hard to be away from your children.. I am in the same boat.. Well hope you day goes better..

Ph, I SO get you! I never feel fully comfortable unless all my little family is under one roof. Then I can breathe easy. I hope that it will be better for them soon! And for you, Mom...:-)
I am sorry they are not having the time of their lives... even so I am certain it will be a wonderful experience for both of them and will bring them even closer together... sometimes it's the not so good stuff on vactions that we remember and find ourselves laughing at years and years later.

Steffie - I am sorry that this trip is not going well. You are a true "Mom" because every time one of our little one is not happy, Mom always tries to make every thing "okay". Take peace and know He is there at all time and He is the Mom to all our kids.
Say a few prayers for them and let Him take over.

Sorry you are missing them so. And that their trip is filled with many challenges of th yucky kind. Soon your pride will return to the den Lioness, you will all pile up and purr together in contentment; all will be well.

It will be ok. David has a level head. He's a smart man. Men just don't have a lot of tolerance for BS. I'll bet you do miss them something awful. Hang in there. I think it's a good experience for them. I hope you Mom's ok though, she's a darling!
Disappointing, but it is so good for Emmie and David too - time together - just the two of them. David's good - he'll handle it all - and it's all memories!!! They'll look back and laugh in a few years!!
Sucks that things aren't going well overseas. Hopefully they'll be home soon safe and sound.
Having a tough time and being at home is bad enough but having a tough time in a foreign country is horrid.

Holy crapola! Poor David, I can relate to getting frustrated not having certain levels of comfort. Hope you can help smooth this over with E.....only 1 week left...

That must be the reason I do not travel,CONFLICT!!!!!That and I am to chicken to travel and am a major home body.
So sorry that they're not having a good time (and thus, you're not having a good time...)
The only good thing I can say about this is that the stories they'll have to tell will be wonderful (given time), and that each story will get funnier and more exaggerated as the years go by. Both Mufasa AND your cub will make fond memories of this trip.
In the meantime, I think maybe you should go and stock up on really, really good chocolate!

One day they will sit back and laugh at these experiences together.
I hate to hear that things aren't going good for them. I know you are just chomping at the bits to get them home.
