Let the shopping begin

P4160828

Oh yes.....we are here.....at the magical White Swan once again. What a beautiful lobby....to take it all in again was amazing. We found our precious red couch and sighed dreamily at the memory of 2005. We unpacked, ate the from the wonderful buffet.....Daddy took Andrew and Emmie and I began our shopping. Silk bags, silk blankets, outfits for all three children, keepsakes for Andrew, gifts for Emmie's friends, scrolls for the house.....and to think that was in about 2 hours! lol The extra suitcase or two will be purchased soon. We had a good flight here. Andrew did great. He has bonded very well and at this point I just can't wait to get home. Sending hugs and kisses to my babies and family back home! ;)

Oh the shopping...I just can't wait to go back!! Do you know, today is the 2 year LID anniversary for my family? Sigh.... Well, we are still getting our feet on the ground after opening our business, so we can wait a little longer. I'm going to catch up on all of your pictures now. Happy Shopping.

I wish I was with you right now! Have fun shopping and exploring GZ!

With the reduction in adoptions, has GZ changed much? Are there less shops, less families, etc. or does it look as busy as it was in 2005?

Have a great time shopping! If you have a chance try to find toys from a Company called "Mothers garden". I think they are Japanese but my friend and DH found some on their business trips in China. They are wodden toys. Bhavishya's got the Dr suitcase in wood with all the kit...incl stethoscope...very cute and she also has the big picnic / Hight tea box...all the cakes are fixed together through velcro and the choclates through magnets. Fun and very cute!

Let me know if you want me to send you some pictures of them.

Hi Seffie it me again... The Chen Clan Temple is were we went and found the wonderful prints I was telling you about... If you have a change you should go there... I saw many prints simular while visiting china but nothing quite as nice as these one... They were made there for you or you could choose one that already was done... They were very simple black and while and the artist did the entire painting with his hands etc., They truly are amazing and prices where quite good if my memory serves me...

Shop till you drop..

Have fun shopping...dont' forget the PEARLS! A woman can never have enough pearls! Actually, you should buy a strand for Andrew to give to his wife one day:) We wish Will had done that when he was there with Dave.
