Last Few Tid Bits.....

The minute I knew my TA was here my emotions changed dramatically. My nights have been sleepless, I've lost quite a bit of weight and my days filled with tears, fears and to do lists. So many things happening in my life and here at home all at once that at times if feels a bit overwhelming. However, I have something special in this little pink box. In fact it is so cool, that it gives me lips like Angelina Jolie-Pitt. To bad that my lips can't even fully cover it and it is something that I thankfully don't have to wear 24/7. (perhaps I need to get more lip plumper) Although, for what I had to pay for it, I bet a botox lip injection would have cost the same. And as far as the pain.......the excruciating pain that hit my upper back jaw on Sunday evening that radiated all the way down to my front tooth and up through my sinuses, that caused me to go in search of the extra vicodin I left let over from my wisdom teeth being pulled out was enough to push me right over the edge and be at the dentist on Monday, the specialist on Tuesday and back to my dentist on Wednesday. The conclusion to my intense facial pain......stress. Imagine that....Steffie stressed?????????.....never! lol P3296148
The pink box. Inside this box is the magic
to create Angelina Jolie-Pitt lips. Every girls dream. lol P3296150
Oh yes......my own personal mouth guard to keep my teeth from clenching.....
DURING THE DAY MIND YOU......and to try and help get my jaw to fall
back into place since it seems to be tilting to the left. Or so the dentist says.
Lovely....just lovely! "Wear this on your long flight" she tells me.
I can see my self now.......drugged out on my Tylenol PM to help
me get through the flight from Chicago to Beijing......drool coming out
of my mouth and running down my chin and as I sleep,
people passing by me as they pace up and down trying to
stretch their legs......lovely....just lovely. P3226123
Of course the boy decides NOW that he wants to start going stinkies on the potty.
Can he not wait for another 3 weeks? Does he not realize that
he does not have to strip down completely naked in
order to do so? Does he not realize that NO ONE ELSE in the
house does this? Does he not realize that Mommy just doesn't have time
allow him to run around without hardly any clothes on right now to accomplish this task?
Not to mention that it is freezing outside again? ~sigh~ P3226124
Yep...here he is in all his glory.....happy as can be.....fully naked on the potty.
What the dilly is up with that? He doesn't get this from me that's for sure! lol
And yes....there would be 3 step stools on the floor......one for each Thing. ;)
This will be their bathroom. P4021552
Yes, our Maui trip was put on hold. However, we were able to get all of our
tickets and one for Andrew on another flight and we
will all be going in June when school is out.
What a glorious time that will be. THAT.......will be a wonderful bonding
time for the children. My last dream come true is home with us..... and
we all get to go to paradise together. Heavenly! ;)
The white dresses and white polo's have been purchased. Finally,
I will get those pictures
I have been dreaming about for the last 4 years. ~sigh~
Hopefully all the rest of the pieces of my life will fall into place too.

P3296152

And at the last minute I decided to pick up one of these little gadgets too. ;) Along with a snazzy little DVD player that is suppose to have a 13 hour battery life. (David already had one) I figured Em and I could watch chick flicks for "some" of the flight! lol

Sorry about the stress, but it will soooon be over. And about the naked potty gig - I think it's a boy thing (sorry girl) All 3 of my boys did it. Now that I look back, they may have done it just to irritate their mama! Hey look at it this way, at least you won't have as much laundry to do before you leave. ;0)

Sorry to hear you are so stressed out. Hopefully not for much longer though. What do you mean by losing weight? You didn't have any extra to lose!!!

Love the Things' bathroom!

Oh, how I know that oh-so-excited-but-beyond-stressed-out feeling. It will be over soon. The moment he is placed in your arms that weight will be lifted.

I just love seeing those three stools lined up at your bathroom sink. You must get a picture of the three of them in there one day. So cute!!

Peter had to be the one to take off everything to go potty too. It made for a long potty time...and a few accidents while he tried to take everything off.

I remember the sleepless nights, hot baths, excitement mixed with worry, and wondering if I had everything. In fact, we had a "staging area" upstairs with all the things we were taking and suitcases ready to be filled.

How exciting that this is coming so quickly now! I am so happy for all of you!

It will all come together...I promise. I'll be glued to your Andrew site every day. I can't wait to follow this next journey. I'm keeping my fingers crossed that you might even get to upgrade your seats once you get to Chicago. I think a nice glass of champagne (along with your bite splint) must just help that very long flight. Love ya!!

I predict all that stress will leave as soon as you are on that plane to China...with a nice glass of wine perhaps by your side. I had to LOL with the visual of you with the mouthguard in while fellow passengers walk by you to stare. BTW I also have one of those lovely little numbers and it comes in a turquoise box.

And as for your little nakey boy wanting to be potty trained...LOL!!!! Oh Steffie, why do they pick these moments. Those pics could be some good blackmail material for you someday to show his girlfriend.

Take care friend. It's all coming together, you'll be with your little man soon!

I had to laugh at the memories your post brought to mind..... .those LISTS seemed to take over and I am still not sure how we ever got everything done.....somehow we did and made it to China (through blizzards and all).
I am sure my jaw was clenched most of the time... hee hee

Thinking of you and how close you are getting..... .seems like yesterday that I was following your journey to Sophia....Can't wait to follow this journey.

You hang in there!!!!!!!

Praying for you friend as you continue to get ready for all the events! Praying you can sleep and get relief from the teeth clenching. I have the same issues and stress of life makes it worse! Also be sure to get in with your chiropractor as when my neck is out of line not only does it give me that awful headache, but makes the teeth clenching even worse with the added bonus of insomnia! When I am adjusted properly, I do not need the mouth guard. Just thought I would pass that along as I remember you and I had the chiro/neck issues going the same time a while back. Wanting you to be feeling good for all that is to come friend so I will pray as I know your pain! We continue to share in your excitement and are happy for Ms. Emmie as she gets to go along again. She has extra special life experiences for someone her age! What a blessing! Hugs and prayers to all!

I, too, have one of those little night guards...I can say, however, I rarely use it. I think the dentist just decided that since I'm over 40 I should have one...is that when the stress hits most of us?

I can't wait to see Andrew on the beach with the kids. I love the 3 step stools. I saw them right away!

Gotta tell me how you like the flip video camera. I am thinking of getting one. Is the quality as good as the big mama or is meant for convenience?

Oh, Steffie...just a few more days and you're "leavin' on a jet plane..."
