A Beautiful Day

We had a gorgeous day yesterday and the children and I had a fantastic time outside. They gathered sticks (for what seemed forever) and had so much fun just throwing them into the lake. They both wanted to pretend that they were fishing and Daniel insisted that he was fishing from an ocean.

The bigger the stick, the more fun they had.

Daniel is all boy and could be outside doing things like this for hours.

The long winter is catching up to him.

This boy needs to get out! lol

And I am afraid that old man winter has not left our state yet.

More than likely we will get more snow at some point.

My beautiful girl. At this point, taking pictures of Sophia when she doesn't realize it is the best way for me to capture her true beauty. She was looking down the shoreline at some geese when I took this shot.

This picture just made my heart soar.....they are such pals. As they walked down the sea wall, they both just talk to one another and they have their own little conversation. It is simply beautiful to me.
