Castle Queen

PC295230 PC295231 PC295241 P1115387 PC295240 PC295239

Here are the blocks we bought Sophia for Christmas. They came in a nice wooden box, beautifully displayed. I wish I would have thought to take a picture before she took them all out. They are from Hearth Song. She loves them and spends quite a bit of time in her room building her "masterpieces." Daddy even built Fia a special little table to have in her bedroom to create them on. She always has to show us her finished castle and asks me to take a picture. As you can see there are many shapes and sizes. It also comes with a book that talks about all the different countries and places in time. She is a ways off from trying to follow a specific castle design, but we think her imagination is great. I would recommend these. ;)

That child gets more beautiful every day! I love the blocks. I am off to try to find them for Jade, though I think I may have to hold off giving them to her for a year or so...lest I'll have them thrown off her highchair right into my forehead at the moment!

Did you get them at the Young Explorer site? I didn't see them there.

These are stunning blocks. Josie received several block sets for Christmas to help with her eventual physical therapy on her hand. Maybe we need another set to add to our growing collection!! The detail work on these blocks are amazing.

Oh, I saw these in a catalog and debated -- they look gorgeous. I'll definitely get them for Katie's next big birthday (which, unfortunately, won't be for 11 months!).

I love these blocks! I dog-eared the page in a magazine that was selling these and forgot to go back and buy them for Christmas. I thought they had a Russian feel. What a great daddy to make her a work table!

These blocks are just BEAUTIFUL! How heavy is the box of them? just wondering if it would cost me an arm and a leg to ship them to Luxembourg...maybe I should have them shipped to my relatives, and have them bring them when they next come and visit?
