I thought I would catch you up on some of the latest things Sophia is doing.
While we were gone in the Bahama's she decided that she needed to have her music play all night long. So, she would get up out of bed and hit the repeat button. Since then, she has realized that you need to hit that button twice so you hear the whole entire CD over.....not just the song that was currently playing. She also went through another "It's too dark in my room" phase. I could tell during the month of October that Sophia really did not like all the talk about monsters, witches and ghosts. She would also get up and turn the hallway light on. I told her that she could not keep doing that. So she now has 3 night lights in her room and that seems to do the trick along with the music playing all night long. Sophia also is showing us that she definitely has musical ability. Since last summer she has been playing very simple songs on the piano. She can play Twinkle, Twinkle with her right hand while playing a single note with her left hand at the same time while keeping rhythm and sing the song as well. She constantly sings the song from Sleeping Beauty. That is her latest fascination. Sleeping Beauty. She is also drawing well. Giving herself and Daddy black hair and black eyes, Mommy and Sissy yellow hair and blue eyes and Daniel brown hair and brown eyes. Her preschool teacher told me she was the only one in the class that has such fine thought for detail. Sophia also still talks about the moon. The other day when I said "sweet dreams", she told me she was going to dream about walking on the moon. The two places she talks about wanting to go are China and the Moon. She is also VERY excited for Christmas this year. She remembers Santa from last year and told me over the weekend that she wants a Princess Guitar. (she saw one in a magazine) Oh yes...that's another thing she does. I'm sure as you all know this time of year, ones mail box seems to be flooded with all sorts of magazines. She'll pick one if she has the chance and ask if she can take it upstairs at nap time to look through until she falls asleep. She couldn't wait to show me the Disney Princess Guitar. I said "Honey....it says you should be 8 to have that".....her response...."Oh pleeeeez Mom, you have to let me ask Santa". lol So.....you all know the answer to that one don't you? Cha Ching! ;) She also keeps telling me how much she loves babies....every time she see's a little one she reminds me that she wants a baby too. Wouldn't that be something if Santa could deliver a picture of one to us before Christmas? It is the season of "HOPE"......so we shall see. ;)

What a lovely picture of the two of you. You both are so photogenic. I love Sophia's idea of a baby for Christmas. I'm praying and hoping for good news soon. Hugs!!
Sweet, sweet girl!!! I hope she takes her love for music and puts it to good use.
I am SO anxious to see if Christmas brings your tribe a new baby. I am praying!
Oh Steffie...what a beautiful update on Sophia! She sounds so much like our Francesca (she too loves the moon & actually has a light-up wall one in her bedroom that displays all the phases of the moon...we must put it on 'every-time' at nap and bed time). Here's to Sophia also getting the guitar...come on Mom - at her age, won't you have loved a Princess Guitar! (I can't wait to see her with it lol!)
Thanks for the update!
She's just beautiful and I see that guitar coming on Christmas morning :)
so very sweet. Your Christmas will be very exciting this year with the kids at this age.
Have a good day Steffie.

Your little Sophia always makes me smile. Sounds like she has some musical talent, and Santa will be bringing her the Princess Guitar(sooo cute!).
Hoping and praying that your lovely family gets their wish for Christmas...
we have had a few of the same night time issues after halloween. Completely understand.
We have Princess Guitars. One of the few toys they play with regularly. I know Sophia will love it.
Have a wonderful week.

It is the season of hope, I wish good things for you and your family Steffi. ;)
I love how Sophia can play Twinkle Twinkle on the piano, have you thought of lessons?
I bet Santa will be leaving a guitar under the tree, wink!!
Have a great Monday, hugs...
I love this picture of you & Sophia. She is just so sweet. Hoping and praying for you too. :-)
Hugs,

That is a great picture of the two of you!
Sophia sounds liek one special little girl. The moon and China---- are you going to go with her?
Sophia is such a sweetheart. This was an awesome update. We are presently going through a tough time with Katie Starr about the "too dark room" and all of the "monsters" that are residing in it. Now the door has to be open as wide as can be. We leave the hall light on when we put her to bed but after she falls asleep we just leave a night light on in her room and one in the hallway. We still get at least one shout out each night that the door is not opened "big enough" and belive me it cannot be opened any more than it is....ahhh this too shall pass is my mantra :)
Hugs to you and your sweet Sophia.
She is so sweet!!
I see(or hear)a very LOUD Christmas morning in your house....I think Sophia would look absolutely adorable strumming a princess guitar.....and I sure hope Santa can deliver that baby picture before the holidays......wouldn't that make for the best Christmas!!

Oh she will LOVE a princess guitar! Lottie loves, loves, loves to read the toy ads when they come in the mail. She gets a pen and circles the things she wants and sometimes will tear the pages out and take them directly to Daddy!
