Temporarily Pimped

I do believe that I have been temporarily pimped. The Mama Machine has gone in for all new wheels and an oil change. My rental car is this Denali! LOADED!!! Touch screen CD player...all the buttons on the stearing wheel.....sun roof......yada, yada! lol I'ts hilarious!!! After I strapped in 2 car seats, my Toys R Us purchases and other important "Mom stuff"......I took off feeling like Miss Thang. It has the XM Radio in it. So.....don't ask me why, but with all the music selections there are with that I chose "Dance" music. The first song that was on was called "Shingaling".......yeah...m-hm....you read that right....SHINGALING!!!! And let me tell you.....the whole entire song I just Shingalinged myself all over the place.....hands a clapping, fingers snappin', head just a bobbin and my booty a groovin'. It was a good thing that it was only in the 50's outside or I probably would have had the sun roof open and my arms would have been flying out of that as well. Bahahaha!!!! I will admit that there is a strong possibility that I look like a traveling freak show when coming down the road......but only when I am by myself. People are always waving at me cuz they think I'm waving at them! NOT......I'm in a groove people.....and I can't be bothered by your waving! ~Sigh~ I have come to the conclusion that it is all my Shingalingin' that keeps me at the Chiropractor's twice a week. Oh well......what's a Shingalingin' Mama suppose to do????? lol

I dance and sing in my van all the time, it's a wonder the green machine stays on the road. There's nothing like a ggod tune cranked up to the max, makes my heart happy.

If other people ask you information regarding the “country of Hawaii” or “country of Alaska”, what do you think of that? A province is like a state and is party of a country. Hawaii won’t become an independent country because it joined the United States the last. May be Texas should be a country since more Mexicans than white people there?

Steffie B. said...

Well anonymous....do you have a problem with Mexicans? Why don't you come clean and tell me who you are....email me....let's chat....do you have any idea who I am? Because if you did....you'd realize that this is NOT a blog for you to come to and act like you are.....STAY OFF MY BLOG!

"May be Texas should be a country since more Mexicans than white people there?"

Is that a sentence?

Steffie B......Keep on Shingalingin!!!!

Maybe anonymous should focus on their spelling and grammar before giving tutorials on geography.

I do not know why people find the need to criticize and judge us just because we share out hearts in this forum. I am so sorry someone was rude to you.

So is that what I do in my car, Shingaling LOL sounds about right. I Shingaling when I walk too (to my ipod tunes). Sometimes people honk their horns at me when they drive by. I would like to believe they love my moves but it's probably a honk to let me know I should'nt be Shingalingin on a public street. I love my XM radio in my car : ) Infact we have it in the house and the boat too. Keep in the Groove Girlfriend! And tell that anonymous to kick rocks!

Anonymous said...

De Lurking also, love your new ride and the Shingalinging!! Your blog does get all of us thru the wait, we are LID April 2007, same as you but for our first adoption!! My two older girls and I love love love your blog!!

One idea about the chiro that you are doing, have you ever tried an osteopath instead? I am an RN and used to see a chiro but switched to an osteo. Sometimes Chiro is hard on the neck, and an Osteo works more with soft tissues. They are usually trained in some types of physiotherapy as well I think. Just an idea of something else that may help you so that you can keep Shingalinging!!

SHINGALINGin? You are too funny! I am one of "those women", too, that are waiving their hands in the air and drivers think are a tad bit on the crazy side. I'm typically doing "Happy and You Know It," or "Baby Bumble Bee" with the girls, but I think everyone needs a little Shingalingin now and then. You go Miss Thang!

I was car shopping a few weeks ago and just for fun - sat in a Denali in their show room. The girls were SOLD! They kept *yelling* "buy it mom, buy it!". I must remember not to take them with me when it's time to negotiate. LOL

Enjoy your pimped out ride!
