Dragon Hat......

Is this just not the cutest little chinese dragon you have ever seen?
Mommy did A LOT of shopping while we were at the White Swan. A gift was bought for me for every Forever Family day until I am 18. I have the best Mommy ever! ;) She and sissy bought so much that we had to buy another suitcase to bring it all home. Daddy was NOT happy! lol He said we already had enough suitcases as it was....now we had one more and it was HUGE!

She looks adorable! Shopping is never too much! I think that was a great idea to buy her a gift for every forever family day until she is 18.

Oh, so cute!! Shopping in Guangzhou was so much fun. I'm already making a mental list of the things I want to buy next time around ...

Stef--you cracked me up with your post about Hannah's haircut! YES, that's the first time I took her to get a haircut! Isn't that crazy?!! Hannah was 14 months old at the time of adoption, and she had very little hair. I've been impatiently waiting for her hair to grow. It's very fine and thin, but it IS growing! :)

Oh, what a smile!
We did a lot of shopping too, especially our last trip. I felt in my heart it would be a while until we set foot on china's soil so I made sure I purchased some special items for the girls, jade and even a painting in Chongqing.

I just love that you are sharing all this. Clearly you need to go back again. I can't wait to walk in your shoes.
Sweet pictures. They always make me think of my Grace. And then I get misty.

Mr.Brian is feeling a little emotional tonight.
I start to think of what could have been for these kids and it tears my heart.I just thank God for all you famalies who opened up your hearts and homes to give these kids a life they desreve.
The first time Joe B told me what could happen to these little girls I thought he was kidding me.We need to (or I need to) also give thanks to these mothers who made a decision to givee these children a chance at a wonderful life.
Hugs to everyone from Mr.Brian

Adorable hat, wish I'd gotten one when I was there. I bought everything but the kitchen sink, but no hat! :(

Beautiful!

Sophia...I remember following your journey when we were waiting. When I saw the picture on the day Mommy and Daddy bought that hat, it made the wait a little easier. I knew that my baby was somewhere in China waiting to wear a hat just like that. You are growing up so fast...still just as cute.

We bought that same hat. Sophia loooks precious in her pretty hat. Ron was not happy that we had to buy another suitcase either but he got over it. HAHA. I was afraid I wouldn't get to ever go back to China so I bought everything in sight. Now that we are going back again, I will be the same way. You will have to be my shopping buddy if we travel together. :)
