Magical Weekend

Words can not even describe the magical weekend we just had........it was like no time had passed. You would have thought we got together with these families all the time. The girls all played with each other, the adults talked like getting together was a regular thing, and for two whole days, I was in my own little adoption world. It was perfect! My absolute favorite thing was hearing the girls voices. I remember hearing many of them cry and grieve in China. All that I heard now..........nothing but beautiful, happy voices. Little chatter boxes that were so excited to see each other.....they have all truly blossomed into the incredible little gifts God intended them to be. I cried Saturday night when we left..........and yet I am so very, very thankful for those two days. There was a gift bag for each girl with very sweet and sentimental gifts in them. Joe Bilby created a video while we were there and burned a DVD for each of us. Gwen hired a professional photographer.....I can't wait to get those pictures. She also opened her home and made us feel totally welcome. She has a great husband. Kristy had the adorable T-shirts made up that all the girls are wearing on the couch. Donna made up a reunion photo book of each of the girls with their referral picture, info that we got of them then and a picture of them now and how they have grown. Those are just a few of the many gifts.......it was priceless in my eyes. So for now.....we will hold on to this past weekend for as long as we can. I know the bond that our group shares will stay strong. They are all wonderful families.......I love you all..... and my prayer is that we will see each other again in a year if not sooner. Thank you Pingjiang families for an awesome weekend..........The Beckering Tribe is truly blessed to know all of you and have you in our lives!
Left to Right: Emily, Leah, Mya, Hannah, Maggie, Sophia, Lily, Chloe, Anna and Olivia on top.
I'll post some video's I have later in the week along with more pictures! ;)

Ok this is crazy!!!
Mr.Brian looks at these pictures reads the stories and gets the vapors.(My words for cry).
It just warms my heart and makes me a happy sad (Happy Sad I am sounding more and more Dutch) to read and hear all about this.I think of what could have been for these children and see what they all have.
I can not express how these stories have touched my heart and helped me in my relationship with God.Strange as it may sound I think I've grown because of all you people.
Thanks for always sharing the good and also some of the not so good times.
Ok Mr>Brian needs to read a fun post or comment now.

We loved seeing you all so much. It was a wonderful weekend. I was talking with Greg about not remembering how all of the different accents are. Can you believe that I only had to smack David one time when he told me I should put my dog to sleep. We really miss you guys already.

And I thought the red couch was only at the White Swan.
There is a party and a half.
I have a cavity from the sweetness.
