Well, it didn't take more than one time watching the Little Mermaid for Sophia to fall in love with Ariel! I don't think the "moon" has anything to worry about, it is by far still in first place, but "Moomaid" is sneaking up in the runner up spot for sure! We now have a Mermaid doll, crocks and a night gown, which she uses for "dress up". And the best is hearing her sing the "Ahhhhh....ahhhhhh."She is learning who all the important characters are in the movie and is very proud to announce who they are when she see's them.
She was very excited when I showed her the new "Moomaid" crocks I found. When I gave them to her she said. "Dank you Momma,....awesome!" Now, I'm sure you can all figure out who taught her that one, can't you? She is my little Asian Mermaid......and I love her so much!

Wait until she tells you she's Ariel and you are the purple octopus lady!!! (Sorry, forgot her name!!!) Couldn't resist!! I love the shoes - too fun - Chloe loves her crocs too!!
Yep....big fat Ursula...that'd be me! ;) lol
Those are soooo cool...din't know crocs came with pictures on them!
Very sweet! I have TRIED to get Lily interested in that movie, but as soon as Ursula comes into view she says "All done Little Mermaid" -- not a fan of the big, scary octopus!
Oh well.
How cute! 'Moomaid' That is adorable!!
Your kids are adorable. Thanks for stopping by my blog/party.
I really loved your post on 2/25. I love to watch my little ones sleep too.
Happy blogging!
Enjoy the language as it lasts, our memories won't be as strong as the ink we use to transcribe these memories.
I just asked Gabrielle what kind of soup she wanted for lunch not expecting that she would put it into words. I asked "Tomato, Cream of Broccoli, or Chicken Noodle?" I really wasn't anticipating an answer other than soup. She looked at me and said "Mushroom Soup Please". OOOOHHHHH! That made my day!
what an adorable family you have!

Those are some cool crocks!!! Too cute.
Love the crocks! Glad the moon still has her heart. Annslee has dumped Barney and Elmo for the Backyardigans! Kids crack me up with their ever changing tastes...
I think I must miss out on a lot of things by not having any children. That is OK tho,I will love em ands send them back to mom and dad when I anm tired of them.
I do miss out on all these fun movies too, guess I can pretend to have a kid and rent these movies.
HOW CUTE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Oh boy....I see a trip to Disney coming soon!
So cute. Spicy Girl loves Little Mermaid as well, but has never seen the movie. She still scares soooo easily, so I'm afraid Ursula will scare her.
I have to teach her SOME cool words for her vocabulary!
My husband thinks Ariel is the best looking Disney gal, haha.
I have never seen The Little Mermaid, but I have a feeling that once K. is home, it will be a regular fixture in the Tv screen.
We have the new release of Little Mermaid, but PandaGirl won't watch it because of the eery eels and Ursala. She doesn't even want to watch it, but still plays as though she and Ariel are friends. Go figure....imagination, I guess. Yours is a cutie!
I love those Moomaid crocks! Eli enjoy the Little Mermaid too. She's so cute Stef! How did Emmie hold out if school today?
I have to admit, I still love Ariel and her crew. I love it when my cousin's kids come over and I have an excuse to put the video in.
"under the sea, under the sea..."
and "go ahead and kiss the girl..."
I just love that movie, can't wait to get Chynna home to share in the excitement of the disney movies (oh yeah and pixar too....)
I just found your blog and I have to admit that I *love* your header.
Just hopping through to the next 'party'. ;)
Hannah and I have tried to watch the movie in the past but she wasn't too interested. I might try again since she has become fasinated by the mermaid on her pull-ups.
Cute picture.
I love the layout, I love the header, the colors and the dragonfly

I love the look on her face as she
gazes adoringly at her Ariel feet.
I have an Ariel fan here too so I won't be showing her the photo or I know what my next errand will be.
