This morning Sophia was eating her bowl of cereal and not really paying attention to what she was doing. Milk was dripping every where so I proceeded to say "Sophia" to which I got no response, so I said it again, "Sophia"........ she is still staring at Dora.....so I say "Sophia Elaine" to which I then did get her attention. I said "you are spilling your milk all over the place this morning. You need to watch what you are doing." My two year spice girl looked at me and said ever so sweetly.......
"Chill Out Mom" (while putting her other hand up in the air that didn't have the spoon in it) What???????????????? She never ceases to amaze me!

Seriously! Where do these babies GET this stuff. PandaGirl amazed us one day when she blurted in the appropriate context, "WHATEVER!" AHHHHH!
Now that is a spicy girl with just the right amount of sweet!

They say the darndest things! That is a riot!
Keep smilin!
How funny! Just last night Caroline wanted to sleep in our room (both kids always ask every night) She looked at Rick and with her hand on her hip she said, "What you think, Dad?" Her tone (which wasn't disrespectful) and her hand on her hip just caused both of us to melt into puddles of laughter. She kept saying, "Why you laughing?" But she laughed along with us.
By the way, that was me that posted the last comment.

I love it, Where do such young kids come up with this.Hmmmm could she have maybe heard her big sister say that before?
I am not up on Dora but I hope she has not said this.LOLOL I love hearing all the funny things children say and do.
First of all, I want you to know how happy I am to have found you out in this blogland. Even though we haven't met face to face, I am thrilled that someone nearby is going to be adopting at the same time we are. Plus, you seem like an amazing person.
Now, I have to comment on the Chill Out. It busted me up, especially with the hand gesture. I can just see her doing it. Too cute.
Oh, Stef, that is too funny. I just wonder where she got it from??? Who in her little circle of friends/family, uses that phrase?? Maybe . . .Deedal!!
LOVE IT - that spice just keeps us hoppin' doesn't it?!?! Keep postin' it keeps me laughin' over here!!
yeah "Mom" .... "Chill out", hehehehe, I about fell out of the chair, tears are coming out of my eyes, I just can't help it, thanks for the laugh Steph...
Oh there is no doubt in my mind that Sophia learned this from "secret sister sessions" she has with Emmie. However, Em will say "Chill-lax" (must be a middle school thing) SO.... if I hear Sophia say that one, I think I'm gonna have to call a family meeting!
lol! She learns it all from me! :)
I haven't seen the blog in awhile...I love it! You have done so much to it. How do you put the visitor counter on it? Teach me oh wise one! Daniel is looking so much more like a little man and Sophia is getting so big. They are all too cute! Love the family pics.
