We had a play date today with the beautiful Miss Sophia Jane. And I must tell you that she is stunning! For being home just a little over two weeks, I saw a sweet little girl that has adjusted to her new life. A little girl that was shy for about 15 minutes and then blossomed into a happy little princess as the day went on. She held my hand, talked to me, ( in English and Mandarin) swam in the pool by herself and let me take her picture. I also saw a little girl that was very attached to her Momma.......and I also saw a Momma whose heart was FINALLY filled with so much joy having her sweet girl home. And yes, Eli, Fia, Andrew and Daniel were here too.....but Miss Sophia Jane was truly the star of the day! We'll see you again next week for another magical day! ;)

We had a wonderful time! And these photos are fantastic, you really have a gift! I tell you, the kids were so worn out that they fell asleep in the car on the way home. I am thinking they will be going to bed early tonight too. We really lucked with the wonderful weather. Just let me know what day works out next week and we will have you all over :)

what a fun day that must have been!! She is so beautiful. Did she and Andrew "know" each other in Beijing...and remember each other today? I didn't know if they were in the same area at the orphanage or not?
They were in the same orphanage....but from what Kimberley and I can see....there is no recognition.....we were told there are over 1000 children there.
