My girl had her first High School Homecoming Dance this past weekend. She had the time of her life and I was in my glory watching my girl get ready, be nervous, giggle with girlfriends and have a great time with her date.
Emmie and Cody are great friends and have been for quite a few years now.
We made them do the flowers by themselves. It was easy for the guys of course, just a slip over the wrist....but the girls

Chicken, rice, corn, garlic bread, baked potato's, great snacks before hand and a
yummy ice cream dessert. The tables were set with gorgeous
place settings with flowers in the center. It was totally amazing.

Homecoming already! Wow, time sure dos fly...I remember mine all so well lol (with really BIG hair and ruffles...OMG did I just that out loud...yikes!) Anyway, I hope Emmie had a great time, she looked simply beautiful!

oohhhhh I love homecoming pictures. This is the first time in 11 years that we didn't have one of our son's attend Homecoming. It's weird to have them all out of the house. Emmie is beautiful as always. I love her dress. I'm happy she had a good time : ) Life goes by so fast. Savor the moment my friend : )

Thanks for sharing and getting me excited for our first Homecoming event at our house next weekend. The dress was bought a month ago (even before a date had asked;) but we are so excited for all the girly fun involved with the hair up-do's, sparkly make-up, painted nails and such!!! Hailey is going with a big group of friends too and the boys and their parents are making the dinner also. Love that!!!
