What do you season your furniture with??? LOL!!!

My nephew has been licking everything too! Very strange. Furniture must have a unique appeal to toddlers.

Why does he lick the chair?
Because he can.
Let's not think of germs.
Just be happy he does not go around licking people in public. Then you WOULD have a problem.
Smooches!!!!!

I think its some kind of toddler rule.
They have to get everything sticky and gooey.
Sometimes I sit down in the kitchen floor and I am amazed when I look around at how much things down low need wiping down because of sticky little handprints.

We just adopted our daughter from China in Nov., and the entire time we were in China all she did was like my shirt (she was in a carrier), and she never stopped. She would also lick anything else in sight also, but she loved t-shirts the best. My 6 yr. old called her "my slurping sister". When we returned home and started her on food, she never licked anything again!

Maybe he's gifted! A lot of really smart, gifted, kids have a thing with textures - licking things, constantly feeling a certain texure, or hating certain textures like jeans, tags in shirts, or the seams in socks.
Just an idea!
Cute little boy!

That's so funny! One of my twins licks everything, especially when she's tired. I found your blog through another. We have three little ones, two adopted from Vietnam.

It is hard to believe he is 2 now.

Ethan licks everything also. YOu will be trying to look out the back door and you see where he has been licking it. What is up with that?
