We are still having a wonderful time. The 6 hour time change has left me with very little energy to blog at the end of the day. I apologize for not blogging as much as last year and for not making it to any of your blogs in the evening. If you want to hear something totally crazy about this trip.......it is very busy here right now with the spring break vacations. The chairs fill up super fast around the pool area and specifically around the area I like to be at with the kids. So.....with that being said....people get up very early to "claim their chairs" with their towels. Want to know what time I head down to claim ours????? Drum roll please......3 AM.....yes you read that right 3 AM in the morning. EVERY SINGLE MORNING!!!!!! Totally crazy.....and let me tell you...when I go down there.....people have already claimed chairs as well. Then at 7 AM....the hotel pool people start watching the chairs. If you aren't in them for 45 minutes and you leave them empty......poof.....they take your stuff to the towel hut. Oh yes.....there are some ticked people...let me tell you. That usually only lasts until about 10 AM. And no....we have never lost our chairs. We are at the pool every morning by 7 AM......Sophia is starving by then anyways, so I take her down for breakfast....make a quick "run by appearance" by our chairs....bolt up to the room to get Daniel, David and the girls and back down we go. By 12:30 both Things go up to the room with Alycia and take 3 hour long power naps. They are so tired. Emmie and Alycia go down to Whalers Village every night for dinner and shopping. We also have some friends along. Through the years David has brought an employee and his wife/kids for an all expense paid trip to Maui. We hope they have had fun. They leave Saturday along with Alycia. So next week it's just our little family....enjoying the sun just a bit longer. Enjoy the pictures.....I am having fun with the new camera. It is hard for me to tell how they look on my lap top because the color is different then my desk top at home. Oh...and I am also wondering if anyone is having trouble viewing my blog. My Mother tells me it takes forever to upload the pictures and that some times they won't even show up for her.....any other's having that trouble? the pictures are beyond fabulous ...it like i can reach into the computer and touch you ... ask David if i can work for him next year and join the trip ... hee hee ... you are so sweet and giving and i am sure they have had a fab time ... the kiddos look so happy and relaxed ...i still can't believe you get up at 3 am, but then again i would do the same for the primo spot of the day ! love ya and tell Emmie that Emily asked where her friend, big Emmie was coming back down !!!

Yep, it was like that when I use to travel to central america monthly for my little get aways. People nabbed their chairs early...lol. I had prem-oo real estate as I always had the most desired spot! Yep, I'm having big time trouble getting on your site. Keeps freezing up on me. Hence that's why I haven't been by as much. My computer keeps crashing..

I can see the photos just fine. I think the reason it takes longer to load is because of the music, not the pictures.
I cannot believe you get up at 3:00 AM to save a chair by the pool. I'd sit on the ground before I'd ever do that! Truthfully, I probably wouldn't even go near the pool until after 10:00, so it wouldn't matter.
There are some seriously sun-happy people in this world, but I'm not one of them (that's why I live in Michigan, I suppose!)

ugh on the claiming chairs. We have to do that when we go to the beach when its crowded in the summer to get a spot near the water. SO irritating I know. Can't sleep for worring about your spot;)

I am still waiting to hear about David and me watching the babes in suits err I meanthe things next yaer.I figure he and I can watch them in the morning,,,,,,,,,,,,You and Emmie in the afternoon,,, and in the evening you and I can go out on the town and if David is real good we may take him along.
