Bubbles and Bullets

collage10

Daniel just loves his bubble maker for the tub that I just got him. He grabs them in the air, studies them, splashes them in the tub......it is just a hoot to watch.

The girls are feeling better. Emmie was given an inhaler to use if she feels like she can't breathe well. Sophia seems to be getting back to her old spicy self as well. Mommy is now sick. I have no voice, coughing, stuffy nose.....you know the drill. Back and neck are currently killing me. Still trying to get that under control.

The Boy actually ate a strawberry the other day. I couldn't believe it. However, I must hold it and he comes and takes bites. If the bite is too big, he spits it out. ~sigh~ We're getting there.

He also tried my blueberry breakfast bar. He didn't really like it but I told him to chew it up and he did. No more bites were taken. Go figure. At least he didn't spit it out all over me. Progress!

Sophia decided this week that Daniels hair needed some improvement. While they were playing in his room, she decided to add lotion and vaseline to his hair. Can you say grease pit? I have washed and washed and washed! We have an appointment on Saturday. I think we are going to have to get it cut out! ~sigh~ Good thing I have a sense of humor!

3 weeks until Maui......oh my achin' word......I can't wait!

Yes, another blog change. lol I made several up a few weeks ago.....I like change......I'm always changing things here at home as well. It lifts my spirits! ;) Brings out my creative side.

Trying to decide what to do with the hair at my next appointment. I'm tired of being blonde. My hair is actually as dark as Daniels....if not darker. The fam always freaks out when I change it. I can't even begin tell you how tempted I am to dye it jet black......stay tuned......you'll have to wait til we are in Maui for the update! HA!

We joined the health club as a family. I will be taking Sophia on Wednesday's to her "Tromper's" class and on Fridays Daniel will be going to his "Wrigglers" class. Should be interesting. I'm excited to have a one on one day out with each of them. Emmie and I will go to work out after school everyday, and she is also going to take private tennis lesson's at least twice a week.

Thank you once again for your kind comments and concern for my Things. I could feel your prayers and I am grateful.

oh an update! I am glad you felt like blogging a little :)
The vaseline: have you tried dr pepper or sprite, I have heard both will cut it. Or try degreaser from the cleaning aisle at the store just be really careful and not use very much.

I love the bubble maker wow haven't seen one! cute cute pics and I am so glad Mr Daniel did not get sick, wonderful.
Beautiful blog template :)

Glad everyone is feeling better and still praying for you and for Emmie's school situation.

We LOVE the bubble blower in the bathtub. Last year I couldn't take Emma in public for several months and we used the bathtub as a pool!

I really know how you feel about your hair. I am sick of highlighting my hair AND the cost of doing it. BUT my hair is so fine I really need to continue to have SOME body in it. I too have thought of going to my natural color....whatever that is!

It really wouldn't matter what you did with your hair, you always look fab!!!
I would have loved to have seen the vaseline hair do. Oh, I also love the new blog look. Are you and Kimberley in a contest to see who can change their blog look the most? HAHA. I do love change too.
I will put one of Mallory's gigantic hair bows in the mail to you. :)

Are the bubbles coming out of that little Noah's Ark? Where did you get it? Eli would love that.

I am so sorry to hear that you have now caught the flu bugs on top of your neck pain.

I am happy that you are going to be able to sit on a beach in Maui soon.

Just got caught up with your blog. Glad the things are feeling better and hope you are soon too!

Try putting baby powder to the effected areas. It binds to the grease and then washes out with shampoo :)

Love the bubble pictures - he is such a little cutie with the greatest expressions.

As for the hair... Keep the scissors out of the way... That is usually the next step and we wouldn't want Daniel to get Sophia back.

Sorry to hear that you aren't feeling well... Hope you feel better soon - Just think Maui!!!

Glad to hear the kidlings are feeling better, hopefully you will be soon as well. I bet Maui is looking better than inviting these days! Hope you have a blast.

Ps. Love the bubble pictures, he is so cute.

So good to hear most everyone is better, now hopefully you can have a chance to take care of Mom! Love your blog, it is always fun to check in on the Beckerings! I did laugh out loud at Miss Sophia's beauty treatments. Anna only covered her baby doll in lotion, a little brother would be way more fun! Try some baking soda mixed with water to make a paste, put in his hair for a couple of minutes then rinse and shampoo. One of my boys got lots of Sunscreen then sand in their hair and it worked pretty well getting that out.
