Sophia had a play date today with her friend Gabrielle. We have seen not Gabrielle and her Mommy........ Rhonda in 20 months. The last time we were at their house, which is about an hour away, I was 8 months pregnant. I wasn't kidding when I told you that I have just about gone into seclusion since having Daniel. And yes....the boy stayed home with my sister! ;) It was so wonderful to see the girls together. They just ran right off down into the basement and into the playroom and talked and giggled and told both Rhonda and I what to do! lol It was great for me to see Rhonda as well. She was actually in China the exact time we were. Bethany had two groups of families there. We went to Hunan and the other's were in Guangzhou. We met up in the end. We hope to get into a better play date schedule again. Thank you Rhonda for a delicious lunch, terrific "adult" conversation and having us in your home! Sophia has already asked when she can see Gabrielle again! ;)

Oh how cute they are together. I am so glad you all had a fun playdate. You can tell by the pic that they adore each other. How nice that you all only live an hour apart.

We had a wonderful time too. So glad to catch up in person rather than through the blog world. Sophia is grown up for her age. I loved to see the girls interact. It was hard to tell if they remembered each other, but it didn't seem to matter. Thanks for making the trip to our place. We will do the driving next time. You know, Panda Mom and I live about an hour away from each other too. We try to get together at least once a month. It's really not that far when seeing such special friends. I'm glad you gals got together, and that the girls had fun. They look adorable together!!
