Potty Update

Miss Sophia is doing very well on the potty. She had a few accidents (#1) here and there, but for the most part tells us or goes on the potty when she needs to. Sophia has always been one that needs quite a bit to drink. Especially during the hot summer months. So even though I put her on the potty before nap time and bed time, I still put a diaper on her during these times. She is always wet in the morning and I am NOT about to change those crib sheets on a daily basis. So putting a diaper on her twice a day doesn't bother me in the least. Now, the bad part is that lately, she has been doing (#2) in her diaper at nap time. I put a pull up on her today telling her that it wasn't a diaper but special princess panties. And yep....you guessed she still pooped in them! Sigh...........I need to come up with something else. I think I am going to try and get her to go before nap time, or tell her to call me if she has to go. However you all know as well as I do that THAT can cause a whole new set of problems. Sigh.........the pictures below are before bath time and she is yelling from the bathroom that she went poo-poo on the potty and then starting saying that she wanted a " 2 owange" M&M's. So I tell her good job, blah blah blah....and I go in there and she hasn't done a thing. First time the little stinker has done this. As I say to her that there is no poo-poo in the potty....she is telling me there is. I look, she looks, I look and then she tells me that "the potty ate it". Nice try I tell her......and these are the looks I got. She's a little stinker that Thing 1.....I gotta keep my eye on her! ;)

Ha-I love the pic of her looking in the toilet. Hannah keeps trying to go poop in her pull-up and I grab her, then she goes in the potty. They'll get it eventually:)

Those pictures and your post are GREAT! Miss Sophia is such a cutie pie!
We use M & M's for potty also.
Lily just wants the M & M's and thinks if she just sits on the potty she should have them. LOL
Isn't potty training fun......

That makes me laugh!!! Just yesterday Chloe told me not to pee pee in the potty - when I asked her why she said, "Because I poop in there and then you pee on my poop." LOVELY!!!

She is so cute. I will be down this road in a couple of months with Morgan. Its so much easier when they are in a diaper.

Oh, but she is SOOOO cute, momma! How could you not give "2 owange m&m's" to her? She really is adorable! And the potty ate it....that's what they all say......

Those pictures are awesome!
She really is doing a great job on the big-girl potty...I obviously have no advice since I'm lucky if Lily goes on it more than once a day!

She's so clever -- the potty ate it! Love it.

Steffie...I understand the not changing the sheet thing! Yesterday I washed the girls' sheets early in the morning, so they would be back on the beds by naptime. Made the beds, they took their naps...and of course! Bethany had an accident...had to take apart the whole bed and rewash it! What a day! And...after I read your post, I went to check on supper, Bethany sat down here on the office chair to pretend she was using the puter...and peed on the chair. She didn't tell me she had done it till I sat down! ICKY!!! Oh well...we'll get it one day!
Blessings-

How sweet is THAT face? Worth much more than 2 orange M + M's for sure. We (me), are getting ready to start the potty training with 2!!! I bought the potties (yes, I got 2 of them), with all the bells and whistles. Pray for me and I will pray for you.

Your daughter is beautiful.
My boy is in exactly the same boat. And he's older than your girl. Don't sweat it, it will only make it worse. On the other hand if you find something that works, please please let me know.

OMW!! She is just like Mya in this area. We just use pullups at night and naps and she mainly poops in her pullups. We gave up on that part. Guess she will out grow it.

That's priceless! Those photos are sooooo cute! Just this week I stopped putting pull-ups on Hannah. Thankfully, she wakes up dry, she never has an accident with peeing .... BUT, twice she has pooped in her underwear!!! YUCK!

Stop giving that child water! lol.... My girls are always soaked in the morning. IF I didn't know better I would think they took a bath before I come in in the morning!

Try putting big girl underwear on the inside of her diaper during naptime. I did this while in the car and then Gabrielle knows that she will feel it if she goes, but the carseat doesn't get wet in the event of an accident on a long trip. Worked like a charm for us.
